Library

Library is the nerve center of learning resources of any institution and it supports teaching, learning, research, academic and development programme.  The libraries at both the campuses are well stocked with a wide range of books on the core areas of study such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Management and Other Areas of study such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics etc.   Leading journals both National and International, Newspapers, Current magazines etc. are subscribed regularly for a quick dissemination of information to the faculty and students.

A comfortable and spacious seating arrangement provides a complete academic atmosphere in each library where students can sit and concentrate. The catalogue of books helps students to identify their needs and quick reference. It is updated regularly as the new books are added. The co-operative Library staff is always eager to help the students and sort out their queries.

Facilities like Book-bank, Inter-library loan, photocopying, etc. are also at the disposal of the students for better usage of available resources. A Display Board has also been provided in the Library where students can view interesting articles and news-clippings directly.

Process of making the Library fully automated is on and acquisition, circulation and serial control of books shall soon be supported by Library Management System software. Each Library has already connected to other national libraries through Delnet. Efforts are also on for bringing the Nice Society colleges Library on an International Library Network. 

Computer Lab

NICE Society Colleges provides the best available support facilities to its students for quality learning and academic performance.  Each of the NICE Society Institution has a Computer Centre.  The Computer Centers are artistically and ergonomically designed, where students get an opportunity to develop their skills according to the global needs and international standards.

Each Computer Centre supports Pentium Nodes and High End Servers connected through latest switches.  Internet and Intranet network facilities supported by high quality software based on curriculum and global requirements, along with latest operating systems, allow the student not only to develop their skills but also access the internet for convenient internal as well as external communication with the cyber world. The college provides free access to Internet to its students through 4 Mbps connectivity.

Lecture Notes and assignment to students are placed on the network so that student can have access at any point of time.   Internal Communication between students and faculty is implemented through available Intranet.  All the staff and students of NICE Society Institutions have unrestricted access to the Computer Center not only from the Campus but also from their homes at any time.   Other peripherals such as Laser and Dot Matrix printers, Scanners etc. also support the needs of the users. The labs are set to create specialist environment required for students of Computer Applications.

The facilities at the Computer Centres are reviewed periodically and regular up gradations are made, so as to maintain a strong competitive advantage for our students in the job market.  The facilities at these Computer Centres are available to students round the clock.

Hostels

Hostel living is an experience to every student, which he/she cherishes throughout his/her life. It develops a sense of living and sharing together along with a feeling of belongingness towards the institution. Students are in close touch and guidance of the faculty and are able to use the library, Computer and other facilities better. NICE Society Institutions provide Hostel accommodation to the majority of its students opting for hostel facilities.

The Boys' Hostels are located on both the campuses.  The Girls’ Hostel, on the contrary, is located nearby at a safe and secure premise for Meerut Campus students.

Girls’ Hostel for Gangoh Campus students is located on the campus itself.  Hostel messes provide good quality and nutritious food to students and the Menu is regularly reviewed by a Committee of students and faculty in accordance with the tastes and likings of the students.

Hostels also provide its residents an access to indoor and outdoor game facilities and recreational opportunities. All hostels are run under the supervision of experienced and matured wardens. Each Campus is provided with a Canteen where for students who not only can satisfy their taste buds by savoring a variety of foods and beverages, but they can also sit and relax in a cozy environment after long academic sessions.

Labs

The development of state-of-the-art infrastructure and technical facilities has been continuous process at NICE Society Institutions. SIET, Gangoh and AVIPS, Gangoh, have set up all the laboratories required for B. Tech. & B.Pharm. programmes.  These laboratories provide practical exposure of the subjects within the curricula. Spacious Drawing Halls help students to tune their drawing skills. In addition use of AutoCAD Software help students to use latest techniques in learning Engineering Drawing.
